A lot better results across the board today, and with Meyer toeing the slab today, more good things to happen.

On paper, Goodwin looked to have an almost perfect day.

Bad luck for Duke that he is putting up such great numbers in a year in which the Nats have no room for him on the big club. In years past he would have become the No. 2 starter in DC by this point in the season. 🙂

Hell, at this point I’m hoping they find a way to fit him into the 40-man so he can get a September call-up.

      (Christian Garcia, too.)

In years past, the entire Syracuse Chiefs pitching staff would have been in DC and 3/4th of the position players, too.
