Luke – who are the three likely starters for the final homestand against the Keys?
Rob Gilliam tonight, but Saturday and Sunday’s pitchers have yet to be announced. Unofficially, I believe Matt Swynenberg is pitching Saturday and Matt Grace is pitching on Sunday.
Just got the official media release: Swynenberg on Saturday, Ray on Sunday.
Walkin’ Eury Perez has reached base in all but 2 of his 34 games at AAA and gotten a hit in all but 3. That stat just amazes me.
Yeah, I love that stat, so he’s walking 1 in 4 games now…..seriously though, I hope he gets a call-up next week (along with Corey Brown). Think he will?
I’ve thought for several weeks now that Perez would get the callup as a defensive replacement, but it’s even possible now that he’ll get some starts.
What is the problem with Nathan Karns?
No problem – He’s hit his innings limit. Remember, he’s two years removed from shoulder surgery and his 116 IP are more than twice he’s ever thrown since HS.
