James Skelton’s RBI single in the last of the 9th gave Syracuse a 3-2 walkoff win over Lehigh Valley. Corey Brown drove in the other two runs while doubling and homering. Pat Lehman got his first AAA win with two scoreless innings of relief. The Iron Pigs outhit the Chiefs 10-6, but had a runner thrown out at the plate (Xavier Paul) and hit into two double plays.

Reading scored seven unanswered runs in a 7-2 win over Harrisburg. Robert Gilliam, making his first start since May 24, took the loss with five runs allowed on six hits and a walk over four innings. Jose Lozada and Jimmy Van Ostrand drove in the two runs, but the Sens were limited to just five hits total.
Devin Ivany was hurt (ankle) but is not expected to miss significant time, as Kris Watts became the seventh catcher to play for Harrisburg this season.
