Two for three from our best pitching prospects.

Hopefully Rosenbaum can put his terrible June behind him (6.27 ERA, yikes).

I don’t know what to make of Karns. He’s 24 and still only in A ball. Does his stuff translate to higher levels? Or is he just a case of benefiting from being a big fish in a small pond?

And Meyer has gotten much better with each start. But I guess it’s hopeless to expect a promotion from him if Goodwin and Skole haven’t yet.

Why bring up someone who CAN pitch when you can trot out Matt “10 run” Grace every 5 days? And Skole sits in Hagerstown while the likes of Kevin – Michael Burgess the second – Keyes strikes out four times a game, or Michael “I’m a big prospect why?” Taylor are still in Potomac. The rationale behind the transactions – or lack thereof – is simply idiotic.

If you don’t know why Michael Taylor is in Potomac, then you just don’t understand minor league player development.
      Think sometimes before writing.

OK expert, explain it. Come say it to my face. Think before getting your ignorant ass kicked.

OK, ladies. It’s hot. A lot of us don’t have power or A/C. But threatening physical violence is not cool.

Really man, threatening to confront someone because they challenged you about an opinion of yours, lets grow up a little here, I’m 17 and wouldn’t do that, maturity level heightened please. Now lets get back to prospect discussion!

It’s usualy a good idea to leave the presumption you’re of age to use a computer.

I am a bit confused as well when it comes to the Nationals and their minor league development system. Case in point, Mesa breaks spring training to Hagerstown. Gets off to a horrible start and is sent to GCL, not Auburn but GCL. Confused! Nationals GCL roster is the oldest roster in the league. GCL is “glorified high school baseball” but the Nationals have 21 – 24 years old playing everyday and losing! Play Valdez, Jennings, Williams and other “teen” players in the GCL and alot them to fail as the Astros are doing with Carberra (.167), as the Twins are doing with Bruxton (.063) and other organizations are doing with their “teen age players ” Confused! Skole is on his way to being the Minor League Player of the Year, why is he still in Hagerstown? Confused! Goodwin is a million dollar baby and is having a great year! Why is he still in Hagerstown? Confused! Move Martinson and Walters to “dubs” or “trips” and let them gain the experienced needed. Confused! Soriano a 25 year old ????? in Potomac. Why? Confused! Alvarez a 27 year old ???? (I quess) in Auburn. Wow! WHY? Confused! We must prepare for LIFE after Strasburg, Harper and hopely Rendon!

    Super clever

You have to understand that Mark L is, at least in his opinion, the resident expert here. Although for the life of me I’ve seen next to no evidence of this. Arrogence usually wins the day.
