A pair of three-run rallies and eight strong innings from John Lannan cinched an 8-2 Syracuse win over Rochester. Lannan scattered eight hits over eight innings and walked just two while evening his record at 3-3. Xavier Paul was responsible for four of the eight runs, including a three-run blast in the bottom of the first, leading the 13-hit attack with a 3-for-5 night.
