You know, it just doesn’t feel like Friday until GBI arrives.

After last year, I thought we might have seen the last of Maya in DC. But if he keeps pitching like this, a September callup to shore up the bullpen seems likely. 🙂

I’m thinking more like a call up to replace an DL’d starter sooner than that. I’m excited about how well he’s doing. I’m looking at the September call-up to shore up the bull pen going to Rosenbaum. He is looking great in H-burg and deserves a shot at AAA now. It is really getting time to cut ties with the worst pitcher in the International League, despite his $5 million a year salary.

Corey Brown set a Syracuse franchise record tonight: home runs in each of 5 consecutive games.

Brown has nothing left to prove in AAA, time to call him up to the show and show Nady the door!
