I can only imagine the agony that Elliot & TBRFan and all the other regulars are feeling at Hagerstown the last 10 days. All that great playing flushed right down the toilet.
I see great things for Potomac in the 2nd half.
Harrisburg is by far the best story this year down on the farm.
Honestly, I don’t think i’m angry. I think disappointed is a better word.
I just like seeing good games played, regardless if they win or not. Yesterday’s two games were like watching a train wreck – you know it’s going to go bad and you try to look away, but you can’t and you’re sucked in. 🙂 The good players (Kelso and Freitas, along with Sanchez) are still pluggin’ along. I think everyone else said “check please”!
If I can direct “anger” at anyone it would be the coaching staff making bone-head calls/moves, etc. that are obviously NOT in the best interest of the team, as well as not “sitting” on Harper earlier in the season when his antics were starting to get out of hand. I know they are told what to do the majority of the time from higher up, but geez….starting McCatty when you need a win????
Regarding the Interesting line for Harrisburg – That should be more Curious, as in WHY is Mock still on the 40-man with those numbers?
I know, I know, Rizzo has had a man-crush on the kid since he drafted him, but please.
Something to me stinks. II am disgusted and disappointed . My guys just fell apart the last 10 games. I feel bad for guys who really worked their tail off. I said this on this site before and Ii will never change. I understand PLAYER DEVELOPMENT , but teach these young men the feeling of winning, from rookie to triple A and it will become infectious . Great 1st half Frietas,Kelso, Manno Harper . We need to focus in on our defense and, quite honestly 3-4 pitchers are in danger of a demotion .
