Hagerstown — OFF DAY
The second-place Suns return home for eight games, four against the Lexington Legends and four against the Delmarva Shorebirds.
2004 7th rounder (out of Golden West Junior College) Marvin Lowrance is being shown as released by the Los Anaheim Angels.
Marvin spent 7 years in the Nats system before becoming a free agent last winter. Last year he made it to AAA for the Nats for the 1st time, he hit 20 HRs in 2k7 & 2k8, not a speed demon, he doubled his previous season high in SB last year, upping it to 6. A good but not great hitter, after hitting .289 and .292 in Vermont then GCL/Savannah, hit mostly in the .270 range.
Good luck to him, hope he gets picked up and eventually a cup of coffed in the bigs.
