Despite three solo homeruns from Bill Rhinehart, Steve Lombardozzi and Adam Fox, the Senators weren’t able to overcome New Britain as they got swept in the final game of the series by a score of 4-3. While this game was closer than the first two, the Sens lost the three games by a 15-6 margin. On a positive note, the team had nine hits in the game (a season high), the most impressive coming from Lombardozzi who hit a double in the third and a solo homerun in the fifth, breaking an 0-for-17 slump at the plate.
