That’s a lot more than just a hot streak!
I can’t believe that Moore was mentioned in a WaPo Express article for possible 1B in 2012, though. Dunn should get resigned for then. Marrero’s a better prospect. Moore still has to show he can close the holes in his swing in AA next year. Congratulations for a great year regardless. Milone’s been a stud, though. Totally impressed by his last couple of starts. Doesn’t Lombardozzi have an 8 game hitting streak at Harrisburg now?
Indeed he does, I’ll have to make a mental note to look for it tomorrow if he can extend it to nine. The WaPo express sounds like the classic case of someone that looked at the league leaders, saw that position he played, and made the synaptic jump that he’s on the verge — utterly unaware of who’s in front of him. Also, it’s to the sports section what the obits are to the regular newspaper: place for interns and newbies to cut their teeth.
At least the off-season depth analysis that some of us run through won’t be quite as bleak this year. WSH still has some holes to fill at the top, but there finally seems to be some ‘meat on the bone’ across the orginization.
