Notes: Newly renovated Metro Bank is the host of the 2010 Eastern League All-Star game. Seven Senators were named to the Western Division squad, including relievers Adam Carr and Rafael Martin, starter Tom Milone, infielders Chris Marrero, Michael Martinez, and Danny Espinosa, and catcher Jhonatan Solano.

Notes: Potomac returns home for a four-game set against the Kinston Indians. Jordan Zimmermann is expected to make his third rehab appearance with the team.

Notes: The Suns return from their five-game swing into South Carolina by hosting the Rome Braves for five games this week in Hagerstown.

Colin Bates started and pitched four scoreless innings, while Shane McCatty earned with win with four innings of relief, though his skein of scoreless frames was snapped at 16 with the Spikes’ lone run of the game. David Freitas and Ronnie Labrie each collected a single and double to lead the Lake Monster offense.

Third round pick Rick Hague made his debut, scoring a run on a walk but going 0-for-3 as the DH. Starting pitcher Kelvin Lopez went five innings and allowed just one hit and one walk, while Nick Serino and John Santiago combined for four scoreless innings of relief.
