Notes: Indianapolis started the scoring off with one in the top of the 1st, and soon after they followed up with two in the 3rd. In the 7th Indianapolis continued to build their lead as they scored one more run to make it 4-0. Syracuse finally made it on the scoreboard in the bottom of the 9th as they scored one, but unfortunately they were too late as Indianapolis took the win at 4-1. Starter Matt Chico went six innings giving up four hits, three runs and four walks with the loss.

Notes: Portland opened the scoring in the top of the 1st with two runs, quickly claiming the lead at 2-0. The Sens struck back with two of their own in the 4th and decided to continue getting runs as they scored three in the 6th and two more in the 8th. Portland could only add three more runs to chop at the Sens lead but in the end it wasn’t enough as the Sens won 10-5. Starter Andrew Kown went seven innings, giving up three hits, two runs and two walks with seven strikeouts with the win.

Notes: Two torrential downpours rendered the field unplayable to force a doubleheader, which starts today at 5:00 p.m. Marcos Frias and Adrian Alaniz are the scheduled starters, to be opposed by Frederick’s Zack Clark and Luis Noel.

Notes: Greensboro started the scoring in the bottom of the 1st with two runs and scored an additional two in the next inning. The Suns fought back with three runs of their own but Greensboro scored one more in the bottom of the 3rd to make it 5-3. Greensboro then pulled away in the 6th in 7th scoring one run in each inning as Greensboro took this one 7-3. Starter Graham Hicks took his fourth loss, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He also struck out three.

Notes: In this low-scoring affair Hudson Valley broke the goose eggs in the 4th with one run. But not to be outdone, Vermont scored one of their own in the next inning to make things all square. But Hudson Valley had winning on the brain as they scored one run in the 7th inning, and that proved to be all they needed as they claimed the win of 2-1. Starter Chad Jenkins went five innings giving up four hits, one run and two walks but got the no-decision.
GCL Nationals W, 3-2 (11 inn.) vs. GCL Marlins

Notes: The GCL Nationals rallied to tie the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the 8th on a two-out, two-run double by Hector Taveras. Christian Meza took the mound in the ninth and did not allow the Marlins to respond, shutting them down for three innings with just one hit and one walk allowed. Wander Nunez scored the game-winner on a steal of third and a throwing error with one out in the bottom of the 11th to secure the 3-2 win.

Notes: The DSL Nationals twice took one-run leads of 1-0 and 2-1 but with just seven hits over 11 innings, they couldn’t get a third run before the DSL Cubs2 did, falling 3-2 in extras. The dismal offense ruined another good outing by Antonio Guzman, who went seven innings and allowed two runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out three.

Notes: The DSL Cubs2 squad rallied for two in the 3rd and four in the 5th to put this game on ice early, eventually winning by a count of 7-2. The D-Nats bats were just as listless in Game Two, as both runs scored were unearned as a result of three D-Cubs2 errors. Starter Anthony Marcelino took the loss, allowing six runs (three earned) on five hits and one walk over 4⅔ innings.
