Notes: Durham started the scoring in the bottom of the 2nd with one run and another run in the 3rd. Durham then scored one more in the 5th making it 3-0. Syracuse tried to make a charge in the 6th but could only muster one run, albeit a steal of home by Boomer Whiting, while Durham on the other hand was able to add 2 more in the 8th taking the win 5-1. Starter Jeff Mandel got the loss, pitching six innings giving up seven hits, three runs and four walks.

Notes: This game was a pretty low-scoring affair and was mostly left up to the pitching staff to decide the outcome. Portland started the scoring in the 4th with one run, and kept the score at 1-0 until the 8th. Jesus Valdez drove in the tying and game-winning runs with a two-out single. Adam Carr survived a shaky eighth and slammed the door with a 1-2-3 ninth, punctuated by a game-ending strikeout. Starter Andrew Kown got the win, pitching seven innings giving up only four hits, one run with five strikeouts.

Notes: Tyler Moore smacked his league-leading 17th home run to lead the P-Nats to a 7-2 victory. The three-run jack also extended his hitting streak to 10 games, a streak in which the 22-year-old has hit .548 with 7HR and 25RBI, and also assumed the league lead in RBI at 72. Starter Marcos Frias notched a quality start with two runs allowed on five hits and four walks over six innings and evened his A+ record at 4-4.

Notes: West Virginia wasted no time getting on the scoreboard scoring two runs in the 2nd. In the bottom of the 3rd, the Power turned on the juice with a whopping seven runs, making it 9-0. Brett Newsome broke up the shut out and the no-hitter with a solo home run in the top of the 8th. The Suns were still eclipsed 9-1. Starter Josh Smoker pitched two innings giving up 11 hits, eight runs (all earned), with no walks and one strikeout for his 10th loss.

Notes: Lowell got the first batch of runs in the top of the 1st with two, but Vermont answered with three in the bottom of the inning to take their only lead at 3-2. Lowell tied things back up in the 4th with one run and went out in front with three runs in the 6th. But they weren’t done there as they scored two more in the 7th and another three in the 9th. Meanwhile Vermont was only able to add two more runs to their score in the 8th as they lost this one 11-5. Starter Matt Swynenberg went four innings giving up three hits, three runs and four walks with the loss. David Freitas extended his hit streak to 20 games.

Notes: A four-run 2nd by the GCL Marlins put the game out of reach early as the GCL Nationals could only muster two ninth-innings runs and lost 5-2. Matt Hague paced the offense with three of the seven hits. Pedro Encarnacion made his first start and was knocked from the box with two outs in the 2nd, charged with four runs on three hits and two walks.

Starter Anthony Marcelino got the no-decision with three runs allowed on five hits and two walks over five innings.
