Three out of four affiliates were rained out on Saturday, but a 4-2 loss by Syracuse extended the minors’ losing streak to five. Tom Milone surrendered two solo HRs in the second inning but registered a quality start with three runs allowed total over six innings. He was still charged with the loss, as the Chiefs were limited to just six hits, with three coming from backup catcher Carlos Maldonado and journeyman Alex Valdez, who cranked a pinch-hit HR in the 8th.
