Teo Banks was the sole National in the Rafters starting lineup. The 23-y.o. Texan batted 7th and started in left field. He went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI, including a sacrifice fly.
Elian Soto, who apparently is an injury replacement yet Jorgelys Mota remains listed on roster (no mention in the mash game notes the past two days), came off the bench to replace Yasser Mercedes in right field in the 6th inning. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored.
Brock Gillis was the first man out of the ‘pen. He walked two and struck out one while giving up a run in a single inning pitched. It was his first run allowed in three appearances.
Salt River (10-8) visits Glendale (5-13) this afternoon. Jarlin Susana is expected to start for the Rafters.
