Lehigh Valley scored in each of the first four innings en route to a 6-4 win over Rochester in the opener. Alex Young “worked on some things” in the 1st, allowing a run on three hits while striking out two. He gave way to a struggling Chandler Champlain, who gave up four runs on seven hits (one HR) to lose for the second straight appearance. Harry Ford drove in three on a pair of singles while Yoyo Morales went 2-for-4 with an RBI double to lead the Red Wings offense. Roster moves: RHP Connor Van Scoyoc reassigned from Harrisburg; LHP Alex Young MiLB rehab transferred from Harrisburg; RHP Erick Mejia placed on 7-Day I.L. (retro. 6/29).

The Flying Squirrels continue to dominate the Senators, handing their fifth loss in their last six meetings, 3-2. Josh Randall allowed all three Richmond runs on six hits and a walk while striking out seven over seven innings. He was rewarded with his second loss in his fourth quality start. Cayden Wallace singled, doubled, and stole a base while Caleb Lomavita walked and homered. The rest of the lineup went 0-for-22 with five strikeouts and three walks. Roster moves: RHP Riley Maddox reassigned from Wilmington; RHP Jhancarlos Lara placed on the Developmental List.

Four Wilmington pitchers combined to shut out Hudson Valley, 5-0 on two hits. Miguel Sime Jr. LaLooshed through the first three with no hits, four walks, and three whiffs. Bryan Polanco picked up his fifth win wth one hit, three walks, and four K’s over three and 2/3rds innings. Elijah Green, Jacob Walhs, and Angel Feliz all doubled once while Ronny Cruz his his sixth HR to power the Blue Rocks offense. Roster moves: RHP Carson Fischer promoted from Fredericksburg, IF Jorgelys Mota reassigned from Fredericksburg.

Hunter Hines went deep twice as the FredNats bottled up the FireFlies, 4-2. Liam Sullivan turned in five innings of one-run ball on three hits and a walks while striking out seven to get his fourth win. L.J. Waco worked a 1-2-3 nint for his first save. Hines drove in three runs and Nate Rombach plated the other with a sac fly and also hit his first double. Dashyll Tejeda stole two more bases to bring his Low-A total to 17 and his season total to 19. Roster moves: OF Branden Boissiere MiLB rehab transferred from the FCL; LHP Pablo Aldonis demoted from Wilmington; RHP Ike Buxton reassigned from the FCL.

The FCL Astros sent 11 men to the plat and had eight of them come ’round to score in an 11-0 shutout of the FCL Nationals. Adam Bogosian gave up those eight runs on seven hits and two walks over two and a 1/3rd inning and wore the “L.” Brayan Cortesia was the sole F-Nat to reach base twice in the five-hit, one-walk barrage.

The D-Nats reverted to the mean with a 6-3 loss to the DSL Tigers 1. Manuel Ruiz gave up the first three runs on three hits over three innings but came away with a no-decision. Christopher Navas allowed the last three runs on three hits and two walks to take the loss. Samil Serrano reached base three times for his third straight multihit game to raise his season line to .310/.397/.517. Roster moves: RHP Edinson Hernandez assigned from Washington (MLFA).
