Rochester Red Wings, 14-13, 4th I.L. East, 5GB – 59-41 overall
The Red Wings broke even last week against the Bisons, which is probably the best that can be expected given the constant roster changes and injuries to Seaver King (oblique) and Yoyo Morales (¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Rochester returns home to play Syracuse for six, including a late-morning start tomorrow. Roster moves: RHP Paxton Schultz recalled to Washington.
Harrisburg Senators, 14-11, 3rd E.L. Southwest, 4GB – 48-46 overall
Harrisburg split against Readijng, which is the last team it has been beaten more than three times out six games in the last week of May. This week it’s a 500+ mile trip to Portland, Maine to face the Sea Dogs for six, including a noontime start tomorrow.
Wilmington Blue Rocks, 17-13, 3rd Sally Lg. North, 1GB – 48-47 overall
The Blue Rocks broke even against the Renegades but slipped into 3rd place, though still one game off the pace in the second-half race. It’s the last trip to Frederick this season for Wilmington with five night games and a Sunday afternoon tilt.
Fredericksburg Nationals, 14-16, 2GB – 60-36 overall
Fredericksburg’s struggles continued with a split against Fayetteville – the second time this season they have not won a series at home. This week it’s the first trip to the new stadium in Wilson to face the Warbirds for six, including a matinee tomorrow.

The D-Nats blew an early 3-0 lead en route to dropping their third straight, 6-4. Ranger Sarit went the first four innings and let in two runs (one earned) on one hit and four walks. Daniel Nolasco took the loss on a two-run HR in the 8th. Samil Serrano walked, singled, and stole a base to highlight a four-hit, five-walk offense.
