Rain claimed the game between the Mets and Red Wings yesterday morning. They’ll try to make it up tonight with a twi-night twinbill. Roster moves: RHPs Paxton Schultz, Gus Varland optioned from Washington; LHP Matt Krook outrighted from Washington, elected free agency.

Harrisburg rallied for five in the 9th to turn a 6-4 deficit into a 9-6 win. Isaac Lyon turned in five innings of one-run ball on six hits and three walks while striking out a career-best of eight. Thomas Schultz came on in the sixth with a 4-1 lead and left after five batters faced, retiring none. Holden Powell couldn’t keep the bases loaded while cleaning up the mess for a blown save. Ethan Petry’s eighth AA homer capped off the final rally, the second of two HRs on the game with Branden Boissiere hitting the first. T.J. White singled and doubled while Kervin Pichardo also reached base twice and scored twice to lead the Senators offense.

The Blue Rocks made the Keys pay for issuing seven walks as they went deep three times to score five of their six runs. The ‘pen held the lead to force extras but faltered in the 10th for a 7-6 loss. Travis “Sunday” Sthele was taken to school with the first six Frederick runs allowed on six hits (one HR) and three walks over three and 1/3rd innings. Austin Amaral let in the free runner on a two-out single to take the loss. Angel Feliz drove in three with a HR and a sac fly while Jack Moroknek hit a two-run homer and Elijah Green hit a solo HR to lead the five-hit offense.

Liam Sullivan muddled through two innings, giving up three runs on four hits (two HR) and a walk while striking out one (1). Grant Manning got the next seven outs with one hit and three hits allowed to earn his first High-A win. Jacob Walsh led the 12-hit parade with a walk, two singles and a homer, followed by Rafael Ramirez Jr. with a single, walk, and a HR, and Elijah Green with two doubles and a walk; each had two RBI.

A 1-0 lead went buh-bye in the 5th as Wilson bombed Fredericksburg, 9-1. Noah Millikan gave up the first four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out five to lose his Low-A debut. Gavin Fien and Luke Dickerson both threw a runner out at the plate to keep the Warbirds at single digits, and slightly distract from 12 walks issued. Juan Cruz singled twice and stole two bases while Manuel Cabrera homered to break up the no-hitter and the shutout.
