Riley Cornelio pitched into the 7th for the first time this season, winning his fifth game while giving up one hit, five walks, and striking out seven. Andrés Chapparro powered the Red Wings offense with an RBI double and a three-run HR while Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin singled three times in four trips to the plate. Cayden Wallace hit a grand slam in the 7th to pull the Senators even with the Curve, but Altoona walked ’em off in the 9th to hand Harrisburg its third straight loss. Davian Garcia was knocked from the box with two out in the 3rd. He gave up two runs on four hits (one HR), no walks, and struck out three. SSDG for Noah Dean as he lost for the second time this series on a hit batsman followed by a triple. Seaver King’s on-base streak streatched to 34 games as he reached five times on a single, two walks, and two Robles while Leandro Pineda singled twice and drove King in with his fifth double to power the Sens offense.

Winston-Salem put up crooked numbers in its first three “ups” to build a 7-0 lead and cruised to an 8-3 decision over Wilmington. Bryan Polanco coughed up the aforementioned touchdown and extra point on five hits, including two HR, and three walks over three innings. He struck out two while somehow losing for the first time in ’26. Ethan Petry, Angel Feliz, and Elijah Green each went 2-for-4 with Petry launching his eighth longball and Devin Fitz-Gerald going deep for the 11th time.

In a game that featured eight lead changes, the FredNats survived, 10-9 to take a 3-2 series lead. Miguel Sime got the start and threw 53 times, 26 times for strikes with four walks, five whiffs, and two wild pitches. Luke Johnson took over in the 3rd and wobbled through four inningsm giving up five runs (three earned) on six hits, no walks, and three strikeouts. Fredericksburg racked up 12 hits, led by Jacob Walsh with two singles and a double and three RBI and followed by Jack Moroknek with single, double, and homer with two RBI.
