Five Red Wings relievers combined for seven and 1/3rd innings of one-run ball, enabling the offense to rally from a 7-1 deficit to win, 9-8 in 11 innings. Jackson Kent was more Clark than Superman as the Mets got to him for the aforementioned seven runs on eight hits (two HR) and two walks over three and 2/3rds. Luke Young tossed two perfect frames in extras to pick up the win. Yoyo Morales’s two-out solo HR in the 9th tied the game at 8-8. In the 11th, he was intentionally walked to load the bases and set up a double play that Phillip Glasser did not hit into, instead singling into right field for the game-winner. Roster moves: RHP Cole Henry rehab ended, returned to Washington.

• Fitz-Gerald 2-5, R
The Blue Rocks got the painful reminder that MLB rehabs are vastly overrated as Bryce Montes de Oca “worked on some things” in a 10-5 loss to the Cyclones. The 30-y.o. retired one (1) of eight batters faced, walking four, and hitting two more as he turned a 5-2 lead into an 8-5 deficit for the blown-save-loss. A dishonrable mention to Austin Amaral who allowed two of three inherited runners and walked three of his own while getting the last two outs of the 7th. Wilmington racked up 10 hits, led by Gaving Dugas, Kevin Bazzell, and Devin Fitz-Gerald with a two each while Dugas and Teo Banks both hit two-run HRs.
