Andrew Pinckney’s Earl Weaver special capped off a five-run 5th as Rochester doubled up Lehigh Valley, 6-3 to win back-to-back games for the third time this season. Reigning I.L. POTW Andrew Alvarez only struck out six while spinning five innings of two-run ball with two hits (one HR) and three walks to earn his second win of ’26. Andrés Chapparro singled twice and drove in two while Dylan Crews reached base three times on a pair of walks and a single to lead the Red Wings offense.

Three Senators pitchers flirted with a no-no before barely avoiding an “oh, no” in a 4-2 win over Akron. Eriq Swan walked two and struck out six over the the first four innings of his AA debut. Connor Van Scoyoc added two more donuts while working around three walks. Harrisburg used the longball to score all four runs, highlighted by back-to-back HRs in the seventh by Seaver King and Cayden Wallace. Valentin Linarez lost the shutout with the “help” of Seaver King’s second error and balked in another runner before stranding the tying runs. Holden Powell lost the no-hitter in the 9th but settled down to get the save. Caleb Lomavita also went yard to open up the scoring with a solo shot in the 2nd. Roster moves: C Caleb Farmer activated from the Development List; IF Kevin Made placed on the 60-day I.L. .

Wilmington got just three hits but drew 13 walks as they made Hudson Valley pay for their wildness, 8-3. Yoel Tejeda pitched into the 5th and allowed all three Renegades runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven. Euri Montero let in one of two inherited runners while getting the last two outs of the 5th and pitched a scoreless 6th to earn the win. Randal Diaz singled, doubled, and walked while Devin Fitz-Gerald singled and walked three times to power the Blue Rocks offense. Roster moves: RHP Julian Tonghini reassigned from the FCL.

The Howlers broke up the Star Trek convention on the Hill City scoreboard in with a four-spot in the 7th en route to a 5-0 shutout of the FredNats. Carson Fischer tossed four scoreless in his first career start, allowing three hits, no walks, and striking out two. Jonah Conradt took the loss with four runs allowed on two hits and three walks over two and 2/3rds innings. Yeremy Cabrera reached base three times on two singles and a walk while Nick “Power to the” Peoples walked and doubled. The rest of the Fredericksburg lineup went 0-for-22 with 12 strikeouts.
