The Red Wings survived a late charge from the Bisons to eke out a 6-4 win and split the series, 3-3. Riley Cornelio spun five innings of one-run ball on three hits and a walk while striking out nine for his second win. Dylan Crews extended his hit streak to five games with a pair of singles and scored two runs while Andrew Pinckney singled twice and drove in two to power the Rochester offense. Seaver King homered to give Harrisburg leads of 1-0 and 4-3 but the ‘pen was not up to the task as Erie prevailed, 9-5 in the completion of Saturday’s game. No Sens pitcher went untouched with Thomas Schultz charged with his second blown save on a two-out, two-run HR in the 4th after losing the aforementioned 4-3 lead. Harrisburg drew eight walks but struggled with RISP, going 2-for-9 with 13 runners left on – the last three in the 7th after Cortland Lawson walked with the bases loaded and nobody out. Johnathon Thomas reached on a fielder’s choice (out at home) while Seaver King and Cayden Wallace both whiffed.

Holden Powell was awarded the win as the opener, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out three. Sandy Gaston earned the save with six up and six down over the final two frames. Sam Petersen walked, took second on a wild pitch, third on grounder to first, and scored on grounder to second. He later singled for the second and final Harrisburg hit in the 5th.

The Spartanburgers scored in the 10th, 11th, and 12th and the Blue Rocks only matched them twice to lose the game, 10-9, and the series, 4-2. Yoel Tejada did his part with five innings of two-run ball on four hits and three walks while striking out three. Pablo Aldonis gave up the tying runs on a two-run HR in the 7th to notch the blown save while Merrick Baldo let in the free runner in the 12th to take the loss. Ethan Petry singled twice to extend his hit streak to eight games while Devin Fitz-Gerald reached base three times on a walk, single, and a double and stole his 10th base to pace the Wilmington offense.

Carson Fischer got the start and labored through two innings, needing 39 pitches to get six outs. Jonah Conradt was credited with the win with one run allowed on one hit and one walk with four strikeouts. Eli Willits walked, doubled, tripled, and drove in two while Coy James walked, singled, and homered for the second time in as many games to lead the Fredericksburg assault.
