The DSL Nationals outhit the DSL Blue Jays Red, 7-5, but that’s not the line that matters as the D-Jays Red blanked the D-Nats, 3-0. Marlon De La Cruz took the loss despite turning in five innings of one-run ball on three hits and three walks. He struck out a career-high of eight. Esnaider Vargas was the sole batter to reach base twice (two singles) while Rony Bello connected for the only extra-base hit, a double in the 9th. The D-Nats went 0-for-6 with RISP and left on seven.
