Rochester scored once in the 1st and twice in the 2nd while five pitchers combined to shut out Lehigh Valley, 4-0 on five hits. Adrian Sampson picked up his second win while allowing four hits and a walk over the first five. Robert Hassell reached base four times on three singles and a walk as did Darren Baker with a single, a double, and two walks as the Red Wings marched to 12-hit parade and drew six walks. Roster moves: IF Juan Yepez outrighted from Washington; UT Paul Witt activated from Developmental List.

The Rumble Ponies got out the gate quick with two in the 1st and then got three in the homestr…er, 7th to ice a 7-3 win over the Senators. Bryce Conley took the loss, his fourth, on four runs allowed on seven hits and two walks. He struck a season-high of eight. Seaver King was the only Harrisburg batter to collect multiple hits while Murphy Stehly drew three of the team’s four walks and was the only starter to not strike out on a 15-whiff night. Roster moves: RHP Mason Thompson assigned from Washington for MLB Rehab.

Wilmington and Asheville traded two-spots in the 1st and 4th respectively and zeroes until the 12th, when the Tourists crashed at home plate for deciding run in a 3-2 win over the Blue Rocks. Travis Sykora was stretched to 90+ pitches, though he walked a season-high of four and “only” struck out seven over five and 2/3rds innings of two-run ball. The loss went to Adam Bloebaum who pitched the 12th and gave up a walk and a hit to plate the free runner. Cortland Lawson singled three times while Caleb Lomavita singled twice and drove in a run. The rest of the lineup went 1-for-30. Roster moves: LHP Shinnosuke Ogasawara reassigned from the FCL for MiLB rehab.

FredNats led 1-0 after their half of the 2nd but it was all Red Sox after that as Salem hung a 7-2 loss on Fredericksburg. Brayan Romero was knocked from the box in the 4th as he was strafed for nine hits and six runs (five earned) with one walk, one whiff, and one Robles. Cristhian Vaquero singled twice and tripled while Kevin Diaz hit a solo HR and Randal Diaz connected for an RBI single.

Salem completed the doubleheader sweep of Fredericksburg with a 1-0 shutout in the nightcap. Luke Johnson tossed four scoreless in his Low-A debut, giving up two hits and striking out two. Angel Roman gave up an unearned run—the fewest runs in his 12 appearances—but that was enough to lose for the fifth time. Nate Rombach and Carlos Tavares both reached base twice on a single and a walk while Randal Diaz rounded out the three-hit assault with a double. Roster moves: RHP Luke Johnson reassigned from the FCL; RHP Gavin Bruni stashed placed on the 7-Day I.L..

Dashyll Tejeda delivered the tying run in the 8th and the winning run in the 10th as the F-Nats edged the F-Astros, 3-2. Gabriel Agostini made his first appearance of the season and worked around a walk in his lone inning pitched. Liam Sullivan turned in two goose eggs in his third rehab appearance. The win went to Doimil Perez despite two errant pickoffs, two walks, and a wild pitch that let in the free runner. Roster moves: LHP Gabriel Agostini assigned from Fredericksburg for MiLB rehab.
