Rochester vs. Lehigh Valley – CNCLD
The finale of the Rochester-Lehigh Valley series was cancelled due to inclement weather. With the AAA second half starting tomorrow and both teams long since eliminated from playoff contention, the game will not be made up.

Binghamton 8 Harrisburg 6
• Law 1⅔ IP, 2H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 1K
• Stuart (L, 1-2) 4⅔ IP, 10H, 6R, 6ER, 4BB, 1K, HR
• Made 2-3, 2RBI, SB
• Naranjo 2-3, 2R, BB
• Glasser 2-5, 6G hit streak

The Senators jumped out to a 4-1 lead after four only to give it right back with a four-run 5th and lose the series finale to the Rumble Ponies, 8-6. Derek Law made his second rehab appearance and was violated for one run on two hits and a walk over an inning and 2/3rds. The loss went to Tyler Stuart as the second man out the Harrisburg ‘pen. The 25-y.o. was stampeded for six runs on ten hits over four and 2/3rds while walking four and striking out one. Kevin Made, Joe Naranjo, and Phillip Glasser each had two singles to lead the Sens’ ten-hit parade.

Asheville 9 Wilmington 0
• Kent (L, 4-6) 4⅓ IP, 5H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 3K, 2HBP
• Jimenez 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 1K
• Lomavita 2-4, 2B
• Brown 2-4, E
• Cruz 2-3, CS

Wilmington trailed 1-0 up until the 7th when Asheville went to town on the Blue Rocks bullpen for four runs, then repeated the feat in the 9th for a 9-0 shutout win to complete the series sweep. Jackson Kent pitched into the 5th and allowed one run on five hits and a walk while striking out three and hitting two batters. He was rewarded with his sixth loss. With the Blue Rocks held to six singles by three different batters spaced apart from each other, the 1-0 lead probably was safe before the bullpen meltdowns.

Fredericksburg 6 Salem 3
• A. Roman (W, 2-5) 5IP, 3H, 2R, 2ER, 2BB, 4K, HR
• Cranz (SV, 8) 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 0K
• Ochoa 2-4, R, HR, 5RBI
• Bazzell 1-2, R, BB
• Y. Rivero 1-4, R, HR, RBI

Nate Ochoa drove in two in the 1st to give the FredNats an early 2-0 lead then smacked a three-run HR in the 8th to put the game on ice for a 6-3 win. Angel Roman threw more innings (5) than runs allowed (2) for just the third time in ten starts, which was good enough to earn his second win. Robert Cranz reverted to form with a 1-2-3 ninth to notch his eighth save. Yoander Rivero also homered and Kevin Bazzell singled to round out the Fredericksburg hit tally of four on the afternoon.

FCL Nationals, 19-14, 2nd place FCL East, 1GB
After dropping four of five the FCL Nationals have fallen into 2nd place, one game behind their “roommates,” the FCL Astros. With roughly four weeks left, the F-Nats elimination number is 24. This week, there’s six games in six days with a doubleheader today, an off day on Wednesday, and the lone game not in West Palm Beach on Saturday morning.

DSL Nationals, 7-7, 5th place, DSL South, 4½ GB
The D-Nats continue to tread water, though the differential has swung from +1 to -7. This week, it’s home games on Tuesday and Saturday, and road games today, Thursday, and Friday – a de facto doubleheader against the D-Mets Blue to complete last week’s suspended game.
