Rochester is in a five-game tailspin as the Red Wings hit the road to play the RailRiders for six, weather permitting as today’s high in lovely Moosic, PA is forecast for 38 degrees.

Harrisburg Senators, 0-3, T5th place E.L. Southwest, 3GB
The Senators were swept by cumulative score of 20-4 as the hitters combined for 11 hits while the pitchers gave up 26 hits and 19 walks over 24 innings. Fellow cellar-dweller Richmond comes to City Isle this week with a matinee on Thursday.



Wilmington Blue Rocks, 0-3, 6th place Sally Lg. North, 3GB
The Blue Rocks picked up where they left off in ’24 and have already been shut out once, scoring five (5) runs in the other two games while giving up 27 runs. This week Wilmington plays host to the Hub City Spartanburgers, formerly of both Kinston, NC and the Carolina League.

Fredericksburg Nationals, 0-3, T5th Place C.L. North, 3GB
Much like last April, Fredericksburg’s pitchers are challenging its batters to cover for them and it’s not going well: 14 runs scored, 20 runs allowed. This week, the Red Sox come to the ‘Burg for the first of four series between the two teams.
