A five-run 7th was the difference as Salt River outslugged Glendale, 11-7 yesterday afternoon.

Three Nationals were in the starting lineup:

● Robert Hassell was the DH and batted third. He reached base three times on two walks and a single and struck out once.

● Max Romero Jr. returned behind the plate in the #6 slot in the Salt River lineup. He went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored and struck out twice. He allowed his second passed ball and three more basestealers to steal without getting caught.

● Phillip Glasser was the No. 9 hitter and played second base again. He went 1-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored, and two RBI and struck out once. He had no defensive chances.

The Rafters (10-8) remain home this afternoon to host the Javelinas (5-13). Chase Solesky (0-1, 7.88) is expected to start for Salt River.
