The Red Wings posted a picket fence in the late innings to rally from 4-2 down to take a 5-4 lead. The Indians tied it at 5-5 in the bottom of the 8th and forced extras. After trading zeroes in the 10th and 11th, Rochester drew four straight walks then capped off the Indianapolis meltdown with a Brady House RBI single. That made a winner out of Amos Willingham, who maneuvered through the 10th and 11th with three intentional walks without a score. Ty Tice let in the free runner while getting the last three outs to secure the 8-6 win that ended a six-game losing streak. House led the Red Wings offense with two singles and a double while Robert Hassell doubled twice and walked once.

A three-run 9th by Reading took away any woulda/coulda/shoulda as the Fightins shut out Harrisburg, 4-0 on three singles. Chase Solesky lost while turning in five innings of one-run all on five hits and a walk while striking out five. It was his fifth loss. Cayden Wallace, J.T. Arruda, and Cody Wilson each had single. None of them reached second base. Harrisburg’s hitters did not draw a walk and struck out seven times in the team’s 15th shutout of the season.
