Fredericksburg Nationals – OFF DAY
With Kannapolis edging Charleston 2-1 in 11 innings last night, the Carolina League will have a new champion in 2024. The FredNats will visit tomorrow night for Game 1 of the Mills Cup Championship and then return home on Tuesday for Game 2 with Game 3 set for Wednesday, if necessary. Both games in Fredericksburg have the caveat of weather permitting, thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Francine. Longtime readers may recall that the 2018 LCS was reduced to one game and the 2017 edition was canceled due to similar circumstances.
