• C. Romero 2IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
• Blankenhorn 1-4, R, HR, RBI, 2K
• Millas 1-4, BB, SB(10)

Lehigh Valley easily tripled up Rochester, 6-2 to stop the Red Wings’ three-game win streak. Like a ’90s sitcom reboot, Jackson Rutledge continues to disappoint as he gave up all six runs on six hits (one HR) and a walk over five innings. He struck out six while losing for the eighth time. Travis Blankenhorn extended his extra-base hit streak to ten with HR #26 while Drew Millas and Carter Kieboom both had a single and a walk to lead the Rochester offense.

Harrisburg 3 Akron 2 (10 inn.)
• Solesky 5IP, 4H, 1R, 1ER, 3BB, 2K, HBP
• Sinclair (BS, 3; W, 5-3) 1IP, 1H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 2K, HR, E
• Grissom (SV, 3) 1IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 1K
• Arruda 2-3, 2B, 2RBI
• Pineda 2-4

Akron stole a run in the 5th and led off the 9th with a solo HR to force extras. The RubberDucks gave it away in the 10th on a two-out error, ending the Senators’ three-game losing streak, 3-2. Chase Solesky notched his eighth no-decision with five innings of one-run ball on four hits, three walks, two whiffs, and a Robles. Jack Sinclair served up a solo HR to Aaron Bracho for the blown save but got the win as the pitcher of record when Harrisburg went ahead. Marquis Grissom Jr. worked around a one-out single and got a key infield popup to earn the save. J.T. Arruda drove in two runs with a double in the 5th and also singled while Israel Pineda singled twice and committed the cardinal baserunning sin of making the first out of the inning at third base.

Hudson Valley 2 Wilmington 1 (10 inn.)
• Cáceres 6IP, 2H, 0R, 2BB, 9K
• M. Diaz (BS, 1) 1⅔ IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 0K

• McKenzie 1-4, R, 2B, 2K
• Vega 1-3, BB

For eight innings, it looked like the Wilmington pitchers were going to be able to make the one (1) run the offense mustered stand up. But a leadoff double followed by a single ended that pipe dream in the 9th to force extras. After the Blue Rocks struck out in order in the top of the 10th, the Renegades pushed across the game-winner in the bottom of th 10th on a one-out single. Bryan Cáceres pitched six shutout innings in a no-decision for the second time this season, walking two and striking out a career-best of nine. Miguel Diaz got the blown save while Chance Huff took the loss. Jared McKenzie doubled and scored the Blue Rocks run while Onix Vega singled and walked. The rest of the lineup went 0-for-27 with 12 strikeouts.

• Pimentel 2-3, R, BB, HR, 3RBI
• Lomavita 2-4, 2R, 2B

Bryan Sanchez was awarded the win as the first man out of the Fredericksburg ‘pen, though he gave up the Columbia run on three hits and a walk over two innings.
