Brady Lindsly (double, walk) and Erick Mejia (2BB) were the only two Rochester batters to reach base. Tyler Stuart notched his sixth quality start of ’24 with six scoreless innings, with two walks and nine strikeouts. The loss went to Holden Powell as he loaded the bases with nobody out to start the 8th and Daison Acosta let ’em all in, then three of his own in a single inning pitched.

He stuck out three. The win went to Samuel Vasquez with a scoreless 6th while the save went to Anthony Arguelles, who stranded three while getting the last out of the 8th and then tossed two perfect innings. Caleb Farmer reached base three times on two singles and a walk while Jorgelys Mota singled twice, scored once, drove in two, and stole a base to pace the FredNats attack.

DSL Nationals, 18-24, 6th place DSL Central, 13GB
The D-Nats took four of five and gained a half game in the standings, but will have to keep up that pace to have any hope of finishing at or near .500. This week it’s home games today and Thursday and road games on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
