Rochester went deep three times for four runs in the 2nd as they doubled up Worcester, 6-3. Spencer Watkins fell one out shy of getting quality start #5 but won for the seventh time. He allowed all three (ugh) Woo Sox runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks while fanning three. Carter Kieboom singled twice and walked three times while Brady House extended his hit streak to five games with a pair of doubles to lead the Red Wings’ 12-hit parade.

A five-run 6th broke up the Star Trek convention on the Pfitzner South Diamond scoreboard. The Senators avoided shutout #11 but not their sixth straight loss as they fell, 5-2. Chase Solesky grounded the Flying Squirrels for four and 2/3rds innings, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out three. Ty Tice stranded two to get out of the 5th but was lit up for all five Richmond on three hits, a walk, and a Robles while getting just one out in the 6th. Daylen Lile and Onix Vega both reached base twice while Harrisburg totaled five hits and four walks on offense.

Brooklyn busted out out for three in the 9th to turn a one-run lead into the eventual 5-1 win over Wilmington. José Atencio went seven full innings for the second time this season but took the loss, his seventh at High-A. He allowed two unearned runs on four hits and two walks while setting down seven on strikes. Jared McKenzie singled twice and scored the lone Blue Rocks run while Joe Naranjo (single, walk) and Elijah Nunez (2BB) both reached base to power the Wilmington offense.

Three FredNats pitchers combined to shut out the Mudcats, 1-0 on four hits in the opener. Marc Davis went five full innings for the fourth straight outing and came waway with his third win over that same stretch. He allowed three hits and four walks and struck out none. Samuel Vasquez walked one and fanned two while working around a walk and a steal. Anthony Arguelles gave up the fourth hit but came away with his fourth save. Sammy Infante singled, stole second, and came around to score on Nate Rombach’s RBI single in the 4th.

Fredericksburg completed the doubleheader sweep with a 2-0 shutout in the nightcap. Dannel Diaz went the first four innings with two hits and three walks allowed. He struck out three. Austin Amaral, Matt Bollenbacher, and Merrick Baldo each put up a goose egg to earn the win, hold, and save, respectively. Christhian Vaquero reached base three times with a walk and two singles while Marcus Brown and Everett Cooper each had a double in the FredNats’ six-hit, four-walk effort.

The FCL Nationals broke open a 3-1 game with two in the 5th and three in the 6th as they put a hurt on the FCL Mets, 10-2. Dustin Saenz went the first three innings and allowed a run on a walk and two balks while striking out two. The win was awarded to Christian Ciuffetelli despite putting on three runners in his single inning worked. Andy Acevedo reached base four times on a walk and three singles while Enmanuel Ramirez singled three times and scored three times to lead the F-Nats attack.

Rain presumably shortened this one to six innings as the D-Nats spun the D-Jays, 9-2. Franniel Reynoso walked four and let in one run on one hit in his three and 2/3rd innings pitched. He struck out two. Darrel Lunar got out of the 4th while giving up a walk, then worked around a single in the 5th, which was good enough to get the win. The killshot for the DSL Nationals came in the 4th with a grand slam off the bat of Victor Hurtado. As noted in the comments, Dashyll Tejeda emerged from witness protection to single, walk, steal a base (#23) and score twice as the DSL Nationals took advantage of errors (4) and hit batsman to score nine times on six hits.
