Harrisburg racked up 15 hits but could only push across four runs. That would cost them when the bullpen blew a 4-0 lead in the 8th as the Sea Wolves stole a 5-4 win in 10 innings. Starter Brad Lord blanked Erie for five innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out six. Daison Acosta was the culprit in the 8th as he let in four runs on two hits and two walks with an “assist” of a Cortland Lawson error. Ty Tice was charged with the loss. Andrew Pinckney reached base five times on four singles and a walk while Lawson singled twice and doubled once. Roster moves: C Onix Vega reassigned from Rochester.

The Blue Rocks were shut out, 4-0 on one hit to lose for the third time in four games against the Cyclones. Riley Cornelio took the loss with two runs allowed on three hits and three walks over four and 2/3rds innings. He struck out three. Terone Harris singled with two out in the 4th for the first Wilmington baserunner. John McHenry drew a walk in the 6th to be the second and final Blue Rock to reach base. Roster moves: UT Viandel Peña, IF Murphy Stehly placed on 7-Day I.L.; IF Terone Harris reassigned from Harrisburg for MiLB rehab.

Fredericksburg rallied for three in the top of the 9th but fell short, 6-4, to lose for the first time in seven games against Delmarva. Jarlin Susana lost for the third time in four starts, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk. He struck out seven. Nate Ochoa singled twice to lead the FredNats hit column of six.
