Nats Edge Marlins, 2-1

After losing a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 7th, the Nats responded in the top of the 8th with a double, single, and a fielder’s choice to reclaim the lead at 2-1, which the bullpen held for Washington’s fourth straight ST win.

KIEBOOM OUTRIGHTED; HASSELL LIKELY TO OPEN SEASON ON I.L.
Former prospect Carter Kieboom was outrighted to Rochester after going 3-for-13 in eight games this spring. The Nats’ #2 pick in the 2016 draft had posted a line of .199/.297/.301 across parts of four MLB seasons.
