The Red Wings ‘pen gave up four in the 7th to turn a 2-0 deficit into a 6-0 chasm as they dropped their third straight to the Bisons, 7-1. Jackson Rutledge took the loss, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six. Rochester avoided the shutout with the help of a two-out error in the 8th as Cody Wilson, who recorded the fourth and final hit (all singles) with one out in the inning, took second on a Darren Baker walk and went to third when Luis García beat out a grounder to second that Buffalo couldn’t turn into a twin killing.

Likewise, the Harrisburg relievers couldn’t hold a 6-4 lead after 7½ innings and gave up two in the 8th to tie and one in the 9th to lose, 7-6 to Richmond. The meltdown denied Mitchell Parker a Jack Morris win, as the southpaw wobbled through five innings of four-run ball on four hits, including a three-run HR that blew a 3-1 lead. Jackson Cluff reclaimed the lead with a two-run double in the 6th and James Wood homered in the 7th to go up 6-4. Malvin Peña blew his second save with two in the 8th while Patrick Ruotolo took the loss on a walk-single-error-sac fly sequence in the 9th.

Blue Rocks got some major-league help blowing a 2-0 lead and fell in extra innings, 4-3, for their third one-run loss of the series. Brad Lord turned in his best outing since getting bumped to High-A, tossing five scoreless innings with four hits, two walks, and three whiffs. MLB Rehab Carl Edwards Jr. retired just one of five batters faced to blow the save. Caleb Farmer homered in the 7th to tie things up at 3-3 but that would be the final hit of the night as the IronBirds bullpen locked it down for three innings to enable the comeback, as Matt Merrill took the loss on a single in the 10th that sent in the free runner. Farmer and Boisserie both went 2-for-4 with a run scored to lead the Wilmington offense.

The FCL Nationals took advantage of three errors to score four runs on just three singles, three walks, and a Robles.

A six-run 1st sealed the fate of the DSL Nationals as the DSL NYY Bombers handed them their 39th loss, 9-2. The “L” went to Victor Farias with the aforementioned six runs on three hits and three walks while retiring just two of eight batters faced. Jermaine Maricuto was the sole D-Nat to reach base twice, as he singled and was hit by a pitch. Carlos Tavares broke up the shutout with an RBI single in the 6th while Andy Acevedo drove in the second run with a sac fly. Roster moves: IF Luis Arias activated from the 60-Day I.L.
