Back-to-back-to-back extra-base hits in the 8th erased a 3-1 deficit and three singles in the 9th put Rochester past Lehigh Valley, 5-4. Joan Adon turned in his third quality start with the bare-minimum three runs allowed on six hits (one HR) and three walks while striking out three. He was rewarded with a no-decision. The win went to Gerson Moreno, though he let in an inherited runner while getting out of the 8th for his second blown save. Jake Noll doubled three times and scored twice while Nomar Mazara reached base three times with a walk, double, and the game-winning RBI single to lead the Red Wings offense. Roster moves: LHP Jose Ferrer recalled to Washington; LHP Tim Cate reassigned from Harrisburg.

The Senators nearly saddled Mitchell Parker with another no-decision, but put up a three-spot in the bottom of the 5th and cruised to a 5-1 win over the Curve. Parker walked four but allowed just two hits over five innings to pick up hist fifth win. He struck out eight. Tyler Schoff threw two scoreless in his AA debut to earn the save. Onix Vega led Harrisburg’s 12-hit parade with three singles and two runs scored, followed by Leonel Valera and Robert Hassell, who both had two safeties and an RBI.

Wilmington overcame a 3-0 deficit to score four unanswered runs and take their third straight from Hudson Valley, 4-3. After shifting Jake Bennett twice in the probables released to the Renegades media relations team, Bryan Caceres was reassigned yesterday from Low-A to pitch in Wappinger Falls instead of Fredericksburg. Caceres gave up all three runs on five hits (one HR) and two walks while striking out three over four innings. Marlon Perez, Holden Powell, Dannel Diaz combined for five scoreless innings to earn the win, hold. and save respectively. Jared McKenzie led the age-appropriate batters with two singles in five trips to the plate, followed by Brady House, who walked twice and doubled in two in five PA. The, um, Talk on the Twitters is that skipping Bennett was planned, according to his source. See above for evidence to the contrary, not to mention that Caceres was listed as last night’s starter for the FredNats on both June 28 and June 29.

The FredNats jumped out to a 2-0 lead early and held off a late charge by the Red Sox for a 4-2 win. Jose Atencio got the start and blanked Salem for five innings with two hits, a walk, and two whiffs. Pedro González finished the game, allowing both Red Sox runs (one earned) on three hits and a Robles to earn his second save. Daylen Lile continues to mash – 13 of his last 18 hits have been for extra bases (H/T to the Frederickburg media relations guys) – with two doubles and two runs scored. Branden Boisserie singled twice and drove in two as the Fredericksburg offense made the most of its limited chances, going 2-for-3 with RISP with four LOB.

Juan Obsipo’s first pro HR drove in two while Dashyll Tejeda doubled and stole a base to highlight the DSL Nationals offense.
