It’s a grueling 75-minute road trip down I-90 this week as the Red Wings visit the Bisons this week. After a 4-2 week, Rochester is just percentage points out of 9th place, which, along with $3, gets them a cup of coffee. Speaking of which… Roster moves: RHP Cory Abbott, UT Jake Alu optioned from Washington; OF Cory Dickerson MLB rehab ended.

Harrisburg Senators, 16-16, T3rd place E.L. Southwest, 1GB
Harrisburg remains at City Isle for another week, hosting second-place Erie and riding a three-game winning streak that’s brought them back .500. This week, it’s another movable object vs. a stoppable force as the Eastern League’s worst pitching and weakest offense match up!

Wilmington Blue Rocks, 17-15, 3rd place Sally Lg. North, 3½ GB
Unbeknownst to the Blue Rocks, their starting CF – James Wood – was named the South Atlantic League’s Batter of the Week for May 8-14 after posting a line of .346/.433/.769 with two HR and seven RBI. Wilmington heads to the Jersey Shore this week for six against the BlueClaws.

Fredericksburg Nationals, 11-20, 6th place C.L. North, 7GB
The FredNats acquitted themselves with a 3-3 showing last week on the road against the division-leading Mudcats. This week, it’s another series against a C.L. powerhouse as the second-place Columbia FireFlies come to town for their one and only trip to the ‘Burg. Multiple sources are reporting that Cole Henry will come out of witness protection make a MiLB rehab start for his first outing since last June. Officially, it’s the tireless TBD.
