Three Harrisburg pitchers combined to shut out New Hampshire, 4-0 on four hits. Amos Willingham worked around an error to preserve the shutout. Robert Hassell drove in one run with a sac fly and another with an RBI single as he accounted for two of the five Sens hits while Drew Millas reached base with a single and two walks and Will Frizzell drew three walks to lead the offense.

The Blue Rocks rallied for two in the top of the 7th to take a 4-3 lead, but the Renegades had it made in the bottom of the 7th and retrieved a six-run bounty for a 9-4 win. Wilmington starter Andrew Alvarez turned in five innings of two-run ball on five hits, one walk, and two strikeouts. Alemao Hernandez took the loss, wobbling through the 6th for a run on two hits, then putting the first six batters he faced in the 7th on base before Mario Lisson figured out he wasn’t pitching well. Jordy Barley reached base four times with a single, a double, and two walks while Trey Lipscomb singled twice and drove in a run to pace the Blue Rocks’ eight-hit, five-walk attack.

Down East 15 Fredericksburg 9

For the second time in four starts, Jarlin Susana did not make it through three innings while the Fredericksburg bullpen threw in-game BP as Down East outslugged Fredericksburg, 15-9. Susana, who was skipped in the rotation last week, walked four, struck out three, and hit a batter over two-plus innings. It was his second loss of the season. The Wood Ducks’ throwers weren’t much more effective as they walked ten and gave up nine hits. The FredNats attack was led by Cortland Lawson and Elijah Green, who both reached base three times with two singles and a walk, with Lawson scoring two and Green driving in two.
