The IronPigs homered in the 9th to tie and in the 10th to win as they smelted the Red Wings, 8-7. Joan Adon got the Opening Day start and pitched into the 5th, giving up three runs on four hits (one HR) and three walks. He struck out three. Jordan Weems gave up the equalizer for the blown save while Jesús Liranzo coughed up two in the 10th to take the loss. Newcomers Stone Garrett and Travis Blankenhorn combined for five hits, three runs, and four RBI while Cody Wilson singled twice, doubled once, and stole a base to lead the Rochester offense.
