Lehigh Valley homered twice in the 8th to erase a 3-1 deficit and end Rochester’s five-game winning streak with a 4-3 win. Logan Verrett’s seven innings of one-run ball went for naught as Luis Avilán coughed up a two-run HR to tie it and Juan Minaya gave up a solo shot to the very next batter to lose it. Lucius Fox was the sole Red Wing to have multiple hits while John Nogowskit drove in all three runs with a groundout in the 1st and a two-run double in the 3rd.

New Hampshire 5 Harrisburg 1

The Fisher Cats broke a 1-1 tie with a four-run 8th inning to hand the Senators their eighth loss over the last nine games, 5-1. Tim Cate struck out ten while turning in his sixth quality start, allowing a run on a home run and two hits total, and did not walk a batter. His final start as a 24-y.o. would be a no-decision. Francys Peguero retired just one of four batters faced, giving up two hits and a walk to the others for his seventh loss. Wilson Garcia doubled while Trey Harris and Darren Baker both singled. The resort of the lineup went 0-for-20 with a walk and nine strikeouts.
