A grand slam snapped a 4-4 tie in the 4th as Rochester fell to St. Paul, 10-6. Jackson Tetreault became the latest victim of the GBI curse as he saw his four-game win streak end. The Saints crucified him for eight runs on seven hits (two HR) and a walk over three and 2/3rds innings. He also hit two batters while striking out one (1). Joey Meneses reached base four times with two walks, a single, and his 13th HR to the Red Wings’ 11-hit parade. Tres Barrera also homered while Andrew Stevenson, Adrián Sanchez, and Jake Noll each doubled.
Roster moves: IF Lucius Fox optioned from Washington; IF Ehire Adrianza MLB Rehab ended, returned to Washington.

The BaySox feasted on the Senators’ bullpen in the 7th for four runs as they turned a 2-1 nailbiter into a 6-1 win in the opener. Steven Fuentes notched his third quality start with six innings of two-run ball on seven hits, no walks, and six whiffs. He was rewarded with his third loss. Wilson Garcia homered and Jack Dunn doubled to highlight the five-hit Harrisburg assault.

Wilmington scored three times in both the 5th and 6th innings before the rains washed this away for a 6-1 win over Rome. Mitchell Parker got the complete-game win while striking out nine, which tied his season high. Darren Baker, Yasel Antuna, and Jordy Barley each went 2-for-3 with a run scored while hitting for the cycle combined, with Baker hitting his 11th double, Antuna homering for the 6th time, and Barley collecting his 3rd triple.

The FredNats scored three times with two out in the 7th to turn a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 win over the Hillcats. Bryan Caceres pitched into the 6th for the third time this season, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks while fanning five. Tyler Schoff got the last two outs in the 6th and pitched a scoreless 7th for the win. Todd Peterson put up a goose egg in the 8th for the hold, and Jack Sinclair pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for the save. Branden Boisserie and Leandro Emiliani both had two singles and an RBI to lead the Fredericksburg offense.

The F-Nats rallied for three in the 7th to complete a comeback from 4-0 and beat the F-Marlins, 6-4. Jose Atencio dug that 4-0 hole with five hits and a walk over three and 2/3rds. The win went to Karlo Seijas with three perfect innings of relief. Christopher De La Cruz doubled while Erick Tejeda hit a three-run HR to pace the F-Nats offense.
Roster moves: J.T. Arruda reassigned from Wilmington; RHP Mirton Blanco reassigned from Fredericksburg.
