Raudy Read singled, doubled, and homered while Gilbert Lara singled twice and drove in the first Red Wings run.

The D-Nats won their season finale in a (presumably) rain-shortened six-inning game, 3-2 over the D-Tigers. Ronni Montero got the start and let in both unearned runs on three hits and a walk over two and 2/3rds innings. The win went to Gabriel Agostini, who left the bases loaded in the 3rd and was perfect for two more with four whiffs total. Jean Estrada doubled while Erick Tejeda, Cristian Batista, and Sebastian Castro each singled to comprise the D-Nats hit column.
ADON TO BE CALLED UP TO START TODAY
Perhaps you may have noticed that the Joan Adon was supposed to have started on Friday night for Rochester only to have been replaced by Steven Fuentes. Turns out the Nats are planning to start him today against Boston and Chris Sale. Apparently, four days’ rest is not enough for Patrick Corbin?!
It’s adorable that people are framing this as a promotion, as opposed to “We need an arm that won’t require a 40-man move, and someone who just pitched will just have to have an injury.” Josh Rogers has already caught the Hellenic flu, so can go someone check on Josiah Gray’s ingrown toenail? #kthxbai
