Just two Nationals took part in the festivities.

Drew Millas was the No. 6 batter in the lineup and the No. 2 position in the scorebook (catcher). At the plate, he was 0-for-3 with a walk. Behind the plate, he had seven putouts and one passed ball.

WHITHER MiLB IF THERE’S A LOCKOUT IN 2022?
It’s been more than a generation (1994-1995), but with the prospect of the strike/lockout looming for 2022, it’s worth noting as the Boys in Durham did that the minors will go on as scheduled. This includes the Rule 5 draft, which is scheduled for December 9th. The current CBA expires on December 1.

What may be less certain is the effect on IFAs, as one of the usual suspects for change with a new CBA could be the rules for acquiring players born outside of the U.S., Canada, or a U.S. territory. While an International Draft seems unlikely, further restrictions to the rules for exploiting signing such players has been the pattern with the past two CBAs.
