Luis Reyes broke even, giving up two runs as a pitcher and hitting a two-run homer as a hitter, but had the no-decision in a 3-2 Red Wings win over the S-Mets. Reyes pitched into 6th and allowed four hits and four walks while fanning two. The win went to Wander Suero, who worked around two baserunners in the 8th without letting either in, while Ronald Peña pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for the save. Mike Ford led off the 9th with a double and was pinch-run for by Blake Swihart, who came in on Donovan Casey’s RBI single. Roster moves: RHP Jefry Rodriguez outrighted from Washington.

Harrisburg blew leads of 3-1 and 5-3 in a 7-5 loss to Hartford. Gerardo Carrillo got his third no-decision in four starts with five innings of two-run ball on four hits and four walks while striking out six. Reid Schaller put on all four batters he faced in the 9th, leaving with one run in, nobody out, and the bases loaded. Carson Teel got them sober with a single and a double to the first two batters he faced to get the blown save and secure the loss for Schaller. Rhett Wiseman homered twice, walked once, and drove in three while Ian Sagdal drove in the other two runs with a two-out single in the 7th. That was the only hit in three (3) RISP chances as the Senators had but six hits total.

The Blue Rocks’ reversion to the mean continued with a 9-5 loss to the BlueClaws. Evan Lee failed to go five full innings for the 14th time in 17 starts, as 87 pitches were needed to get 12 outs. He was charged with four runs on three hits (one HR) and seven walks. He struck out three. The blown-save-loss went to Zach Brzkcy, who came on with a 5-4 lead, nobody out, and a runner on 1st in the 8th and left with an 8-5 deficit. Drew Millas and Justin Connell both drove in two, while Millas and Kevin Strohschein both singled twice to lead the Wilmington offense. Roster moves: RHPs Tomás Alastre, Tyler Yankosky reassigned from Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg scored three times with two out in the 4th to erase a 1-0 deficit and held on for a 3-2 win. Rodney Theophile picked up his third win with one run let in on six hits and four walks over five innings. Amos Willingham gave up the second run but not the lead to earn the hold while Troy Stainbrook put up two goose eggs for his second save. Viandel Peña and Juan Paulino both singled twice with Peña plating one and Paulino driving in two. The rest of the lineup went 1-for-24 with two walks. Roster moves: LHP Leif Strom released.

FCL Astros vs. FCL Nationals – PPD
That’s seven rainouts in less than two months for the FCL Nats. They’ll make it up next Wednesday. ESPN has learned the game will be at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.
