Rochester Red Wings (27-37, 4th, 15GB, Northeast Div. AAA East)
The Red Wings stumbled into fourth place despite a 2-4 week and stay on the road with six against the RailRiders.
Roster moves: RHP Andres Machado optioned from Washington; OF Andrew Stevenson recalled to Washington.

Harrisburg Senators (24-41, 6th, 14½ GB, Southwest Div. AA Northeast)
Harrisburg heads out on the road for two weeks with six against Portland followed by six against Altoona. However, they remain in dead last, 12 games out of 5th place and 14½ out of 1st.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (29-37, T3rd, 13GB, North Division, High-A East)
The Blue Rocks head to Brooklyn, presumably by train and without sleep, for six against the last-place cyclones. Wilmington is on a three-game losing streak after putting together a three-game winning streak.

Fredericksburg Nationals (22-44, 4th, 18GB, North Division, Low-A East)
Fredericksburg broke even against third-place Lynchburg to pull 2½ games ahead of Kannapolis in the “race” to avoid the worst record in the (*srsly?*) Low-A East. It’s six against second-place Salem this week before they return home on July 27.

FCL Marlins 12 FCL Nationals 4
• Hiraldo (L, 1-3) 3⅓ IP, 6H, 4R, 0ER, BB, 4K
• Ribalta 2⅔ IP, 2H, 0R, BB, 3K, HBP
• Arias 2-4, 2B
• Murzi 1-2, R, BB, 2RBI

Three-run rallies in the 2nd and 4th effectively ended this game as the FCL Marlins sent the FCL NAts to their third straight loss, 12-4. Bernardo Hiraldo made his second start but was knocked out in the 4th after four unearned runs on six hits and a walk. He struck out four while taking his third loss. 21-y.o. Andry Arias singled and doubled while Ivan Murzi singled, walked, and drove in two. The rest of the lineup went 1-for-23 with five walks.

DSL Phillies Red 3 DSL Nationals 1
• Moron (L, 0-1) 3⅔ IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, BB, 2K, HBP
• Francisco 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K

No, it’s not your imagination — 18-y.o. Winder Diaz is 6-for-12 in his first five games.
