Buffalo rallied for two in the 9th to break a 2-2 tie and double up Rochester, 4-2. Ben Braymer went the first four innings and gave up a run on two hits (neither a HR!) and three walks while striking out one. The loss went to Bryan Bonnell, as he gave up the aforementioned two runs on three hits and walk over an inning and 1/3rd. The Plates got just seven hits at the dish, with Blake Swihart and Humberto Arteaga the only two batters to reach base twice.

Harrisburg vs. Reading – PPD
The Senators couldn’t get of committee as they were rained out for the sixth time this season. They’ll make it up with a doubleheader tomorrow night.

Wilmington broke out for six runs in the 5th en route to a 13-5 thrashing of Jersey Shore and broke a four-game losing streak. Jackson Tetreault got the start and went the first four innings, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out three. The win went to Todd Peterson with three innings of one-run ball on three hits and a walk while fanning three. Omar Meregildo broiled BlueClaws pitchers for two HRs and four RBI, while Yasel Antuna extended his hitting streak to three games with three singles as the Blue Claws pounded out 15 hits total. Roster moves: RHP Todd Peterson activated from the 7-Day I.L; RHP Jackson Tetreault reassigned from FCL for MiLB rehab.

Kannapolis 3 Fredericksburg 0 – SUSP.

The Cannon Ballers and F-Nats endured 92 minutes of delays before they suspended play after an inning and a half. Kannapolis unleashed a fusillade of three runs on four hits over two “ups” on Michael Cuevas to take a 3-0 lead. They’ll finish this one tonight and play a seven-inning game afterward.

They’ll make this one next week when the two teams meet in Port St. Lucie.
