Rochester Red Wings (6-18, 6th, 11GB, Northeast Div. AAA East)
Rochester heads west on I-90 to visit Worcester and the latest, perhaps most painful proof that just because a stadium is new, doesn’t mean it’s good. No word on when the Spotlight team will get to this, they’ve been kind of busy lately.

Harrisburg Senators (7-16, 6th, 10½GB, Southwest Div. AA Northeast)
The Senators return to City Island for six against Portland. Harrisburg remains the lowest-scoring team in the minors, leading the AA Northeast in just one offensive category: sacrifice hits.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (12-12, 3rd, 4GB, North Division, High-A East)
Wilmington returns to Delaware for six against the Hudson Valley Renegades, one of two new full-season Yankees affiliates after the 2019-2020 MLB coup d’etat. The Blue Rocks remain the sole affiliate with a non-losing record but have been unable to get more than one game over .500 thus far.

Fredericksburg Nationals (1-17, 4th, 12½GB, North Division, Low-A East)
The F-Nats are back in F-Burg for games 7-12 of 36 against Delmarva. Yesterday, Mitchell Parker became the first Nationals minor-leaguer to win weekly honors in 2021, as he was named the Low-A East Pitcher of the Week after making foie gras out of the Wood Ducks in two starts last week, turning in 12 shutout innings piling up 22 strikeouts.

GCL Update
No, play hasn’t started. But according to its website, the GCL will start back up on June 28. The Nats are listed as one of six teams in the GCL East, with the Astros one of five organizations—Baltimore, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh are the others—that will field two teams. No schedule is available yet.
