The Red Wings blew a 3-1 lead in the 8th but got the two runs right back in the bottom of the 8th with a Carter Kieboom HR and three singles for a 5-3 win over the (ugh) Woo Sox. Rogelio Armenteros returned to the rotation but lasted just four and 2/3rds innings, with one run let in on a HR and five hits total. He walked three and struck out six. Ronald Peña put on four base runners in the 8th without getting an out but left with a 3-2 lead. Dakota Bacus followed Peña and got three straight outs, but a sac fly tied the game and tagged him with a blown save. Given a 5-3 lead in the 9th, Bacus then worked around a leadoff hit to earn the win. Kieboom, Jake Noll, and Blake Swihart each went 2-for-4 and combined for a double (Noll) and three RBI as Rochester collected 10 hits again.

Aldrem Corredor homered in the 6th to break a 2-2 tie then smacked a two-run double in the 8th to add on some insurance as Harrisburg won again, 6-2 over Altoona – just the fourth time this season the Sens have won consecutive games. Luis Reyes tied his season high with nine K’s as he turned in six innings of two-run ball for his fourth win. Jhon Romero finished the game with three scoreless frames for the save, his first of 2021. Corredor also doubled to go 3-for-4, as did Rhett Wiseman, who also hit a triple. Harrisburg totaled ten hits again to finally hit the .200 mark as a team.

A five-run lead in the 11th proved to be far too small for the Blue Rocks bullpen, as two relievers managed to let in six runs while facing just eight batters in an extra-innings meltdown that saw the Renegades stealing a win, 9-8. Chris “Chevy” Vann was charged the loss and all six runs (the unearned being the free runner) on two hits, two walks, and a Victor Robles. He got one out on a strikeout. Jordan Bocko issued an intentional walk, threw a wild pitch, and gave up a two-run double for the blown save. Starter Joan Adon fell one out shy of a quality start with three runs (two earned) allowed on three hits (one HR) and a walk. He struck out six in the no-decision. Hudson Valley gifted Wilmington the tying runs in the 8th with a wild pitch, an error, and a passed ball. The Blue Rocks’ attack was led by Gage Canning and Israel Pineda, who both went 2-for-5 with a run scored, an RBI, a single, and a double.

Fredericksburg got two gift runs on misplays by Delmarva’s catcher and it proved to be the difference in a 3-2 win. The first run scored on a throwing error as Ricardo Méndez, who had reached on an infield error and stolen second base, came home from third base. Jeremy Ydens doubled and Kevin Strohscehin singled him in to give the F-Nats a 2-0 lead. The last run came in the 6th when Viandel Peña hit a leadoff triple and scored on a passed ball. Carlos Romero fell one out shy of qualifying for the “W” as he lasted four and 2/3rds and gave up one run on five hits and two HBPs. He walked none and struck out five. The win went to Troy Stainbrook, who stranded two while getting the last out in the 5th and tossed two scoreless innings. Ydens doubled twice while Junior Martina singled twice to lead the F-Nats hit column.
