Rochester took a 1-0 lead on a Luis García HR to lead off the game… and it was all downhill from there as Worcester evened up the series with a 12-1 defenestration. Rogelio Armenteros was taken deep three times for all four runs he allowed over five innings. He gave up eight hits total, walked none, and struck out seven in his fourth loss. On the other side of the scorebook, Red Sox pitchers held the Red Wings to three hits and four walks, with García, who also singled, Carter Kieboom (two walks), and Cody Wilson (single, HBP) the only batters to reach base twice.

Only a home run disrupted an otherwise dominant outing by Carson Teel as the Senators clubbed the Sea Dogs, 8-1. Teel went seven innings and gave up all five Portland hits in his first win of the season. He did not walk a batter but did hit one as he kept all four singles and the Victor Robles from reaching second base. Gabe Klobosits struck out the side in the 8th while Pearson McMahan pitched a 1-2-3 ninth. Jakson Reetz (two doubles) led a quartet of Harrisburg hitters with mutliple hits as the Sens rapped out 11 total and drew three walks (two by Drew Mendoza).
Hudson Valley vs. Wilmington – PPD
SSDD as Wilmington and Hudson Valley were rained out again. They’re already playing two today to make up for Thursday’s rainout, and it appears that they will not be playing a doubleheader tomorrow. The Renegades next visit the Blue Rocks on July 13-18.

Bryan Peña pitched a career-high seven innings as the F-Nats downed the Shorebirds, 5-2. Peña walked two and struck out five and gave up the two Delmarva runs on home runs. He allowed three hits total as he earned his first win of the season. 19-y.o. Michael Cuevas put up two zeroes on the board to finish the game and earn the save. It was 82 degrees and partly cloudy at outset but Fredericksburg kept the Delmarva infielders cool as they fanned 19 times, with every man in the lineup striking out at least once. Conversely, eight of the nine batters collected a hit with Allan Berríos leading the 11-hit parade with a pair of singles.
