The IronPigs were the Lucy to the RedWings’ Charlie Brown as they yanked the ball away for the third straight game with a 5-4 walk-off win in 10 innings. Ben Braymer returned to the starting rotation and let in the first three Lehigh Valley runs on four hits (one HR) and three walks over five innings. He struck out three. A trio of relievers put up a goose egg before Justin Miller allowed a pair of singles with a stolen base sandwich in-between to plate the tying run in the 9th. Ryne Harper took the loss with a groundout and a single in the 10th. Rochester made the most of its limited offense (four hits, three walks, one Victor Robles), led by Brandon Snyder’s Earl Weaver Special – the 34-y.o.’s 179th career big fly – and Raudy Read’s RBI double.

Carson Teel was the starter and turned in five innings of two-run ball in his regular-season AA debut. He gave up four hits, walked two, and fanned three. Gabe Klobosits picked up the win with two scoreless innings following teel.
